CDL-A Flatbed Driver Overview

Pay that adds up. Earn up to $112,000 per year depending on route, with 50–75CPM based on experience and scheduled yearly raises.*
Bonuses built in. Earn up to a 5CPM monthly performance bonus plus a sign-on bonus of up to $5,000 for experienced drivers.*
Accessorials that reward the extra work. Tarp pay, load securement pay, stop pay, detention pay, layover pay, and breakdown pay.*
Less time waiting, more time driving. Many customer locations offer shorter loading and unloading windows and drop and hook options, with fewer long detention periods.
A schedule you can plan around. Most customers run normal business hours, which means fewer overnight or middle-of-the-night appointments. Home weekly or bi-weekly based on location, with home weekends available.
Freight built for flatbed pros. Tarping and securement required, with more physical activity throughout the day and less time sitting in the cab for long stretches.
